  • General Meeting of Members
    The General Meetings, made up of regular and extraordinary ones, are to make decisions about board member election, the rules of JCGF, and so on.
  • Board of Directors
    The Board of Directors is to discuss and decide the basic courses of JCGF.

    The Executive Committee is to carry out the decisions made by the General Meeting of Members or the Board of Directors

Main Activities
  • Research Groups
    For every Research Group, which is composed of academicians and practitioners, one theme on corporate governance is decided and relevant academic-practical studies are conducted. (For example, performance group, group of corporate governance in UK, etc)
  • Seminar
    As a forum for presenting Research Groupfs achievements, seminars can be organized whenever necessary. Research seminar may also be held due to proposal by JCGF members or when inviting foreign guests.
  • Symposium
    The annual conference would be held at the end of October to summarize the yearly study activities and put forward suggestions to the society.
  • Annual Reports and Books
    Annual Reports are issued as the summary of annual study activities.
Code of Ethics
The purpose of this code is to thoroughly maintain JCGFfs identity as a non-profit academic association and to further develop its missions.

  1. Members should not do any profit activities at JCGFfs seminars, symposiums, meeting bulletins, annual reports and so on. And the achievements of JCGF should not be used for profit activities. (By profit activities we mean such ones as distribution of negotiation/PR materials and persuasion of joining profit organizations, which are all aimed for economic interests)

  2. JCGF members should not use membership list for profit purposes.

  3. When contacting non-JCGF-member people for JCGF activities, any profit activities should not be involved.

  4. JCGF members should not use the status or titles at JCGF for any profit activities.

  5. Members who violate above code may be asked to leave JCGF by the Board of Directors.
